I recently returned from my latest Scandinavian shopping trip and wanted to share some photos with you.

As many of you know, I travel to Scandinavia several times a year looking for up-and-coming designers, and to secure the latest items for Huset customers.

During this trip, I traveled to Stockholm to visit with houseware vendors, and to Copenhagen for Scandinavia’s biggest fashion fair.

We’re so excited to let you in on some really wonderful news! We’ve acquired a new space on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California for our new store and we couldn’t be happier. Our Stockholm architects are hard at work to make this location something really special, we can’t wait!

Here are some great ideas for that special little boy in your life…

The t-shirt can be worn by itself while the weather is still warm or with a long sleeve (as pictured above) when it gets colder.  The tee would look good with shorts, jeans, or even khakis and can be worn to school or just to hang out while playing.

The little box comes with puzzles inside but can also be used as a lunch box to take to school. Last, but not least, is Playsam’s wooden car (the Streamliner) and what boy doesn’t love a little toy car?

We held a contest recently and gave away two VIP tickets to attend Odd Molly’s Spring / Summer 2011 Fashion Show. The winner, Denise, attended the show (which was part of  New York’s Fashion Week) and sent us some images she took while there along with her thoughts.

We’d like to congratulate Denise again for winning the tickets and thank her for taking the time to send us her photos and thoughts!

Denise had a great time at the show and had this to say about Odd Molly’s 2011 lineup for Spring/Summer:

“I’ll describe what I saw like this — a beautiful mix of colors (purples, berries/wines, taupe, dusty blue, natural, grey)… also a striking use of gold as accent, rich textures (patchwork, lace, satin, silk, cotton) and a great mix of elegance, natural, playful looks.  I am on the lookout for a few of these pieces!
