iiS, Davina is designed by Siv Elise Seland from Stavanger, Norway. After graduating from Teko Center Denmark as a fashion designer in 2001, she entered Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. While studying she designed her first collection for Davina in Norway. In June 2003 she graduated with a Cumma Sum Laude degree in Master in Fashion Design. Already before finishing her masters she had started her stage at the design studio of Stefano Guerriero. After the stage at Guerriero, she was offered a stage at Versace, but chose to go back to Norway to work for Davina, owned by Siv Elise and her mother, Olaug Seland. She decided to dedicate herself to family life before starting her own line a couple years later: iiS by Siv Elise Seland.

After having great success with the first collection based on retro knitwear inspired by traditional Norwegian sweaters, with a new touch of glam. She is excited about the future, and the challenges that lay ahead.
