As the story goes, this hat was knit to wear for the 1956 Olympics. This is a high quality wool hat with a distinctive peak that would become the most popular and copied hat in the world. Says Amundsen on both sides and Hickory & Tweed on the logo in front. Fleece is sewn into the front inner lining and the rest is hand knit in Vermont.
