Muuto Reflect Sideboard

Nordic Designer Søren Rose celebrates his homeland’s fleetingly short season in the Reflect Sideboard for Danish house Muuto. REFLECT focuses on enhancing and presenting the structure of the wood in the optimal way. The carefully contoured shape of the furniture allows light to reflect along the visible wood grains on its front. Yet there’s also an urbane sophistication evident here, as in all of Søren’s work. Devoted to quality, sustainable materials and workmanship that is both innovative and respectful of tradition, Søren is a natural heir to the masters of classic Scandinavian furniture making.

About The Designer

Muuto

Muuto is inspired by the Finnish word muutos, meaning ‘new perspective’. Muuto strives to expand the strong Scandinavian design tradition with a new and original perspective through forward-looking materials and bold thinking. Rooted in this tradition, the designs are characterized by aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and an honest expression.

For Muuto, the design begins with the person - they handpick talented contemporary designers and give them the freedom to express their individual story through everyday objects. They say you will know their design because it has muutos – and we agree.
