Hanataba
Hanataba was born from a deep-rooted Swedish family tradition in floristry. Their story begins with Ingvar Strandh Blomsterskola AB,a florist education school founded in 1969. Ingvar’s daughter, Jenny Strandh, continued the legacy as both a florist and educator, teaching countless students and enthusiasts the art of bouquet creation.
Together with her husband, Christian Jonasson, Jenny brought a fresh perspective to floral design. Christian saw the need for a user-friendly tool that would simplify the art of spiral bouquets. That vision led to the development of the Hanataba Flower Twister.
Proudly made in Sweden, the Hanataba Flower Twister is a beautifully designed stem holder that helps you create full, structured, spiral-style bouquets in seconds. What once required expert skill can now be done effortlessly, making floral design accessible to beginners and pros alike.
The Twister’s elegant, functional design has even been used for floral arrangements at the Nobel Banquet, a testament to its quality and impact in the world of floristry.
To complement their bouquet tools, Hanataba also produces Kenzan Rings, a traditional Japanese tool used in ikebana flower arranging. These Swedish-made kenzans offer stability and control, enabling intricatedesigns that remain in place. Whether you're creating a minimalist ikebana display or a lush centerpiece, their Kenzan Rings offer the perfect foundation for creative expression.
Hanataba blends the precision and aesthetics of Scandinavian design with global floristry traditions.
