It all began with a wall and a vision. In 2005, Danish designer Trine Andersen moved into a new home and set out to decorate the walls. She soon discovered that nothing she could find matched her personal style. What started as a simple desire for the perfect wallpaper sparked what would become ferm LIVING: a globally beloved design brand known for its distinct graphic identity, timeless craftsmanship, and soulful interiors.
From that moment, Trine created ten wallpaper designs rooted in her love for vintage, nature, and clean Scandinavian lines. She applied to exhibit them at a Danish trade fair, but could only afford to produce one. That single design became the launchpad for ferm LIVING.
