KOYOI Martini Glass with Pedestal Stem, designed by Kazushige Miyake, epitomizes statement glassware. This Japanese inspired line features wide bowls supported by sturdy, solid glass base stems which have the appearance of ice. The poetic design of KOYOI, which means "this evening" in Japanese, has the perfect feel for your favorite specialties. KOYOI is mouth blown by experienced glass makers.
• Capacity 3.7 fluid ounces / 110 ml
• 3.2" / 8cm height - 3.9" / 10cm diameter
• Mouth-blown soda-lime glass, clear, cut and highly polished rum with a small bevel inside and outside. Sand casted blomus logo.
• This item is dishwasher safe, but blomus recommends hand washing all fine glassware
Mouth blown glass may create subtle variances such as flow lines, small bubbles, and minimally different material thicknesses which add to the beauty and uniqueness of each hand-crafted piece.
Meet Designer
Blomus
Run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in the town of
Sundern in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany, blomus carries
the legacy of strong family allegiance and a talent for business, but
also tells the story of a geographical area that was once the home to a
thriving steel and coal industry.
Blomus continues to be known for its devotion to exquisite quality, a highly innovative approach to product development, and a desire to look beyond the mere aesthetics of a product and view its practical properties as equally
important. In combination with an overall design philosophy
that expresses simplicity, feminine sensibility, and an uncompromising
approach to color, shape, and choice of material, this has secured
blomus a position as a major player on the international design scene. A lot of their designs are reminicent of Scandinavian design with clean lines and simplicity.
